One-move chess challenges
Every AhaMate challenge is one decision with a visible consequence. You don’t need to know chess — the board shows the threat, you pick one move.
Today’s trap
One curated puzzle per day, the same for everyone. No streaks, no penalty for missing a day, a spoiler-free line to tell someone. Play today’s trap
The family loop
The child learns a secret move, builds the trap by placing one enemy piece, and hands the phone over. The grown-up gets one move. Then the grown-up changes one thing and the child must find the new way out. About five minutes, one phone, two people. How it works →
Three secret pieces
The Amazon
Ignores the obstacle.
The Cannon
Uses the obstacle as a screen.
The Grasshopper
Uses the obstacle as a springboard.
Each secret is revealed by the child, to the grown-up, inside the game. The rules are on their own pages behind a spoiler gate — see the footer.
Send a challenge
After a family loop you can share the trap as a link: the recipient gets the board, one move, and the same “aha”. The link carries only a puzzle id and a random token.
